Ali built theHRkey to answer one thing that nagged him across years of UK SMB resourcing: why do hiring agencies cost £15k for work the right AI can do in fifteen minutes?
The answer wasn't to replace people with AI — it was to put the AI in front, let it do the reading, and use the saved hours to put practitioners in front of clients more often, not less. That's the practice he runs today: an agent called Key on the pipeline, a small team of senior practitioners on the calls.

Owns the candidate side — upload, match, kit, interview prep. Former in-house TA at two London scale-ups; ran the candidate experience function at a Series-C SaaS before joining the practice. Her rule: "if it's not useful to the candidate, it doesn't ship."

First voice you hear when you book a discovery call. Briefs the brief — turns "we need a senior engineer" into a scoped, costed RaaS pipeline. Background in agency recruiting and employer-brand consulting. Catches the JD problems before they cost you 6 weeks of search.

ICF-credentialed coach. Runs the sector-pivot and career-return packs. Former hiring manager at three FTSE-250 firms, so he knows which interview answers actually move the needle in real rooms.
